I'd just like to apologise for my earlier intemperate post about the press release. My passion exceeded what was warranted I think. There is is so very much inaccurate information about relactation around, so very little good information and such a low level of knowledge amongst the general population and many professionals that sometimes I feel like tearing my hair out. I know that that is not anyone's fault in particular and I hope that this will change as we regain lost knowledge in this area (as has happened with many areas of breastfeeding/lactation). I'd also like to say that if anyone is writing about relactation or adoptive breastfeeding that I'm happy to give them my 2c and critique/provide constructive input.
