Hello, LACTNET-ers,

P2P. I have a patient nursing a toddler. During most of her nursing relationship, she describes her right nipple only as being purplish in color and feeling bruised. Recently, it feels intensely painful. There was a yeast infection some time ago, but it has been treated and abated with Diflucan. No Reynaud's. Latch is fine. No cracking. Interestingly, she states that it feels better when she is wearing a tight fitting push up style bra and that she applied preparation h one day and it seemed to feel better. (This was not on advisement from anyone, she was just trying it.) Thoughts?
