Dear Baby Friendly supporters:

Does anyone have a vendor policy that they could "highlight" in a few casual lines here on lactnet?

We have a policy, but are currently addressing this issue in depth on our unit and could use a little stricter guidelines to satisfy our need for

1.  vendors for new/updated equipment as well as
2.  keeping unneeded vendors from visiting our materials management department/ OB floor.

Without becoming politically incorrect (you know what I am talking about), who do you have vendors schedule their visit with to update staff on new products and how do you balance that with being fair across the spectrum for all vendors?

Any help/guidance/ been there done that... is appreciated!
