I use both these terms. I think the word nursing provokes a beautiful, gentle
soothing image. I love to talk about nursing my daughter. it makes me feel
very warm and fuzzy. In fact, I think my milk is letting down right now...I
better go get her.

I also say breastfeeding proudly. I try to use the term comfortably and
casually in public as if to suggest it is just a common term to describe a specific
act.

I don't really understand why there needs to be a controversy over words.
Both terms are lovely and need to be used in the open as much as possible.
