I compiled all of the ideas together into one post.  Thanks to all of you
that shared these wonderful ideas!

Two round cakes joined lightly (think cleavage but not smooshed) in the
center and decorated with whatever will make a nipple in the center (I
favor the extra large chocolate kisses!) and "congratulations" printed
on the tops or bottoms of the two cakes.  You can have lots of fun with the
frosting--making bikini tops or open bra flaps or whatever.

They can be made out of chocolate using a hersey kiss (of any size) mold.
We have made breast cakes using a Pampered Chef mixing bowl (either the
small or large one), or the doll cake mold from a cake decorating store
(they come in large and small sizes).

Just make a batch of cupcakes, and purchase a
can of vanilla ready made frosting, and a bottle of chocolate syrup.  Use
the syrup to make a variety of "skin tones" for the cupcakes (you might need
yellow food coloring as well), top with a red, pink or orange gumdrop, and
present them on a platter in groups of two.

In the specialty cake aisle you'll find a cake pan designed for a
traditional Southern lady doll wearing a very wide full length skirt.  Throw
out the doll and the pan becomes your breast cake pan. It holds an entire
two layer cake mix and has a tube in the middle to conduct heat to the
middle and ensure that the cake bakes correctly.  Of course you have to make
one vanilla and one chocolate (remember the cartoon book?) and frost with
your favorite skin tone and nipple color.  Talk about  EEEE engorgement!

Along the same line, I've used the gold and silver wrapped chocolate kisses
candy as "awards" for World Breastfeeding Week (mainly for LCs, PCs, etc.)
They're called the Silver and Gold Nipple Awards!

You can start out with yellow, white and/or chocolate cake batter (maybe
even a spice cake for a nice brown).  Make the cupcakes.  Frost with
whatever color/flavor frosting you want (chocolate, white, pink).  Put a
gumdrop on for the nipple :-)  If you'd like to make the areola, you can
tint the frosting a little darker and frost it in the middle, then put
the gumdrop on.  If the gumdrops aren't the right color, try a jelly bean
up-ended in the frosting.

We have had great success with breast sweet rolls.  A sweet yeast-rising
dough, with or without raisins, is rolled into breast shapes.  Here your
creativity can really shine, no two identical, etc.  Form nipples by
hand and watch what happens in the oven, or cheat and use a half a
maraschino cherry (silicone wannabe version).

I make what I call golden breast candies. you take some
powdered sugar and mix it with brandy (I use fruit brandy I make myself)
that
has been simmered with a spoonful of peppercorns for a few minutes. you mix
the liquid with enough powdered sugar to be stiff, roll it out, and cut it
into little bitty circles. then I put a golden dragee on each one, and a
little bit of golden powder (from the cake supply store). they can be quite
spicy if you let the pepper steep a long time.
