Besty Hart writes in her 'article':

"I asked several readers who wrote foaming, gasping e-mails to me, if they
really don't view breasts as sexual then would they mind if I paraded
half-naked in front of their husbands and sons? Okay, maybe the better idea
would be somebody slightly better endowed parading in front of their
husbands and sons, though I'm not sure that in the end it makes much
difference and that just sort of reinforces the point."

This makes me ask the following culturally based question :
in the USA is 'ok' (culturally and legally) to go topless on ANY beach,
camping area, park etc etc? It is here in the Netherlands. You can see bare
breasts on any Dutch beach and sometimes in parks in the cities (I'm
thinking Amsterdam). There is not, as far as I know, separate places to go
topless. Infact I don't think the Dutch would even consider it an
issue )yeh, ok I'm sure there are people with hangups, but I mean in
general). If going topless on public beachesi n the USA (which everone
frequents) is not a 'big deal' then why is breastfeeding in public? Or is
showing your breast on beaches / recreational areas not done?

Just wondering where the borders lay in the USA?

ps I admit to being too much of a prude to go topless.
The Netherlands (where its nearly warm enough to go topless)
