Kathy & Ione,
I agree with both of you about and love your point on why pills give
women a period?? (withdrawal bleed) Golly - don't get me going on
birth control issues and the terrible choices women have!
Everyone I seem to have ever had contact with seemed to deal better
with labor at home ( took responbility... more education on normal?)
than women who went to deliver at hospital no matter how perfect the
setting.  I do think the real issue is creating a form of pain relief
that does NO HARM to either mom or baby to those moms that request
relief.
Maybe I've been living in this rural area too long and am getting a
really distorted view of women.  Want PPP (planned painless
partuition) nothing to do with nursing and all want to be induced!
