Seeing as how formula is NUMBER FOUR on the WHO's list of acceptable infant 
nutrition, you could say that it's also a "D"!

As in:

A or A+ = Breastmilk nursed directed from infant's own mother

B or B+ = Breastmilk from infant's own mother fed with alternate method

C or C+ = Donor breastmilk

D or D+ = formula
