Thanks Barbara, for you insights into method for comparison of length of
nipple/areola when elongated with depth of soft palate in baby who has a
problem.

Made me think of one more possibility, though original poster didn't
think MER was a problem. Perhaps antigravity positions might make for a
little less nursing antics from the baby.
