Actually 25+ years ago my sil did this at MI S U.  She is a
neuropathologist.  She & 2 secretaries had babies about the same time.
They used an empty office for the "kiddie corral" and hired college
students to do the child care.  Able  to go and BF  whenever baby needed
attention.  Worked very well for them.  After about 8 mo sil made
arrangements for baby to stay home, baby was an obliging sort who  BF if
mom was there and took a bottle if mom wasn't there.  Nursed to about 14-18
mo, I can't remember now.  Was 3rd BF baby for my sil.  My sil  has gone on
to   help many women BF their babies at her univ.
I'm not sure that the author is correct that we have to choose home or
office.  I nursed my 2 youngest while helping out on our farm.  Was that
more legitimate because the farm was just outside my door?  In cultures
where mom must till the fields, babies frequently rest in the shade at the
end of the row, mom tends   them when she gets there or a sibling brings
baby to mom.  Women have always worked, we just work in different places
now and I think it is great that business is catching on to this fact.
