Linda:  You did despite your febrile state send the post about the lady
with the ankle tattoo to be removed by laser, and Jon Ahrendsen answered
you on Dec.5 (you may want to check the archives for his post).  I would
like to second his opinion that there should be no reason to stop
breastfeeding.  I recall he suggested that the doctor should review
lactation physiology.  To my knowledge, there is no systemic effect of
local laser treatments, so perhaps that doctor needs to review physiology
in general (I am, however, no expert in lasers, so I'll be checking the
literature just to be sure).  This may be another candidate for the
