>Has anyone actually seen biologic breastfeeding work with a woman with flat
or inverted nipples?

Suzanne Colson's DVD, "Biological Nurturing" talks at length about offering
the breast to a baby who's asleep when there are issues like flat or damaged
nipples, engorgement, or a baby refusing to latch. Not sleepy; asleep. In
Biological Nurturing positions, it's such a simple move for the baby that he
may attach just running on instinct and therefore do a better job. Her
website, www.biologicalnurturing.com shows a nice little video clip of a
drowsy baby; the last segment on her video has several shots of lightly
sleeping babies.

I can't speak from experience, but it makes good sense. Maybe we spend too
much time waking babies up!
