I couldn't help but share an experience I had with my first breast fed child.

Lindsay was 18 months old and was very anxious when the Doctor came in to the
room for her check-up. Suddenly she started saying loudly "Nurse, Nurse".
The Dr asked "Why is she calling for the nurse?" "She isn't." I said. He
thought for a second and smiled then said "Oh, I see, by all means go for
it." Lindsay cuddled up in my lap and happily nursed while the Dr did the
check. My next three children had names for nursing that weren't quite so
obvious.

YesterdayI attended a day long seminar for health care workers to help
promote Breastfeeding. The speakers were four lovely women from SOLA.
Southern Oregon Lactation Assoc. They did a wonderful job and I spent a
pleasant day. Thank you so much for your work.
