To the people of Lactnet,
Hello, my name is Susan Betz. I am the mother of three children,
Jasmine, 7 1/2, and twin girls, Dylan and Maya, 2 1/2. I have nursed
all of my children; Dylan and Maya are still nursing and show no sign
of weaning.

I run a breastpump depot in a semirural area of Ohio. We have an
active La Leche League in town, of which I am a member but not a
Leader. I enjoy the business aspects of the depot, and avoid
counseling outside of encouragement. However, my clients seem to fall
into two very disparate groups: crisis cases (premies, sick babies,
all of whom are transferred to a children's hospital over an hour away)
and working mothers who are motivated to pump their milk for their
babes. Sometimes I must do counseling, especially when I sense that
the person on the other end isn't going to make that second phone call
to the LLL Leader.

I genuinely appreciate the sharing of information that Lactnet
subscribers provide. It's great to have another resource at my
fingertips.
Susan Betz
