Just wanted to share something that happened the other day.....

I had a mom call me on Tues that was scheduled for a therapeutic epidural
the next am for back pain, she is nursing an 11 month old, her doctor had
told her months ago ( she didn't call me at that time) that IF she want
nursing, he would prescribe her Motrin three times per day for the pain, but
because she was nursing she couldn't take that, so the pain got worse, and
he scheduled this epidural, mom really didn't want to do something so
drastic, so after reading her Hales info on Motion, she realized that she
could take it!! We talked about risk Vs benefit of Motrin and the eipdural
and the age of her baby. I faxed Hales info to the doctor and he called her
in the Motrin that same day, next day mom called and is feeling better
already, cancelled the eipdural......

This is just one demonstration of hoe helpful this book is, it is a MUST
have foranyone involved in helping moms breastfeed.

Cindy ;-)
