May I just say to all of the people who responded to my post, a hearty thank you.  The lactation community is absolutely awesome!  Thanks to local LLL Leaders in my daughter's area we've located several family dentists for her to choose from and she has some really good ideas for how to deal with the situation without interrupting their nursing relationship.  You've all been so tremendously informative and supportive.  Both my daughter and I are grateful for this network!  Isn't it nice to know that there are actually some dentists who believe that the breastfeeding relationship is to be considered as the primary consideration (not to stop it, but to continue it!).
