Hi, Jennifer. The Best Start 3-step approach to promoting bf in the
prenatal arena is a great resource. It shows you how to quickly determine
what the client feels the "cons" are to bf, how to affirm their feelings,
and how to give them quick, targeted education. The most widespread
barriers are embarassment, time and social constraints, dietary and health
concerns, pain, lack of social support, and the final one--lack of
confidence-- which permeates all other barriers in addition to being a
barrier itself. I don't think they have a website, but here is their email
address: [log in to unmask]

I also found this free handout on the aap website for returning to work:

Hope some of this helps. Keep up the great work.
