Hi,
I have had a few women with very large nipples but only one who could not get
her baby to latch. She was a small woman, 4. 10 and her baby had a really
little rose bud mouth. We tried everything but in the end using prem teats mum
expressed she fed her EBM for 9 months!  This little girl stayed tiny ( good
weight gain ) and her mouth was always too small for any feeder cup. Mum used
a feeder for ill or elderly in the end until a normal cup could be used. She
was a cute little thing. This woman has always said if you want to you can do
and stay focused about breast milk for babies and not necessarily
breastfeeding. I learnt a lot from her and I hope it helps your woman to be
positive about feeding.
