> Dear Friends:

This might be considered off-topic, although relevant.

I am outside every day, unless it is storming out, even in winter. Since
reading about the Vitamin deficiency epidemic in the US, I make a point to
stand in the sun while I wait for the train. I walk 1-3 miles a day at least
5 days a week. Philadelphia is at 40 degrees North latitude. I've been
supplementing my diet with a homeopathic preparation of Vitamin D that
muscle tested as the right preparation and dose for me.

I've enrolled in the grassrootshealth.net Vitamin D project and will receive
a test kit once every 6 months. My first test yielded a level of
28.........even after all my outdoor time and the supplementation. Wow.

Next stop on the journey will be cod liver oil.

Not so easy to get enough Vitamin D. My levels should in the 32 to 60 range.

warmly,
