They didn't bother to use anything to cover themselves up."  This shocking
display of breasts took place at an all female baby shower.  The
columnists-Kathy Mitchell and Marcy Sugar completely missed the boat with
the response "We're all for nursing babies, but it is rude to make one's
guest uncomfortable...it would have been considerate for these women to
acknowledge that not all the party guests were keen on observing the
process."

Too bad my 19 year old son wasn't there.  He's just dying to see someone
"whip it out" but so far, despite eagle eyes, has been mightily disappointed.
Maybe it's just the Chicagoland area, but the women around here are pretty
discrete.  The ones that aren't "discrete" are the ones that have a huge blanket
flung over them so you know EXACTLY what they are doing -- but poor Tim doesn't
think that's quite enough.

I'm kidding -- I don't really think Tim's on the lookout for women who are
breastfeeding in public except to give them a thumb's up if he spots them -- but
honestly, I don't think he's ever seen anyone do anything that anyone could
consider indiscrete.  Neither have I.  I keep wondering what on earth everyone
else is seeing that I'm missing....
