heck, if i were this mom i wouldn't be resting my gut, i would be drinking
the milk that is available. however, i will share an experience from one of
my patients, whose husband started his "program" with 8 ounces of colostrum.
the way it works to clean out meconium from the baby's gut  - it does that to
an adult too! so start slowly if there is much colostrum in the milk.
