Could she ask the physician to show her research to prove that breastfeeding
during pregnancy with no history of premature labour is dangerous?

Over the past 25 years, I personally have known hundreds - yes, hundreds -
of mothers who breastfed while pregnant without any problems. I breastfed
through three of my four pregnancies and went more than two weeks past my
due date in two of those pregnancies.

It doesn't seem to me that this is something a mother needs "permission from
her doctor" to do. If it was me, I'd say thank you for your opinion, I'll
take it into consideration as I make my decision, and go home and nurse all
I wanted to.
