I'm wondering if any Lactnetters with a midwifery background might be able
to point me in the direction of resources for women on birth after loss. A
woman who experienced a traumatic adoption loss this time last year became
pregnant via IVF and is now expecting her baby in the next few weeks. She
has become a bit overwhelmed recently with thoughts that she might lose this
baby too and is considering an elective caesar even though she really
doesn't want to do that. I expect that there would be information around on
birth after pre or perinatal loss but have not been able to locate any. I'd
appreciate any information on this that I can pass onto her. Please respond
off list.
