I feel like a real newby once again, stumbling across another topic I know
way too little about...: growth charts! ;-)
What I find interesting in the quote you posted...

... it stresses the *underweight* aspect (which usually isn't there) and
doesn't mention the *overweight* issue ("to make formula feeding mothers
more aware of the fact that their babies might be overweight"), that often
IS there!
To our Australian colleagues, to Nina... is this the atmosphere...?
Sounds pretty familiar, also the reluctance to talk about it, due to the
guilt-aspect.
I think firm Code-compliant initiatives will help us a great deal in the 
right direction.
