for a minute or two, since it seems to help it stay on
more securely.">>>>

I have had a few moms who would keep the nipple shield in
their bra (not on the nipple just between their breasts)in
between feeds. They said that when the silicone was warm
it would mold to the breast and stay put much better.
They also always knew where it was! :-)

I do teach to turn sl. inside out when putting on, mainly
for the reason that it helps it to stay put. With flailing
arms everything helps. But it does help to get the breast
tissue pulled into the nipple part faster.
