Wow...I just visited this site (I needed to feel depressed today, I guess) and I was shocked to read one of the reasons to purchase this new internal-ultrasound-fetal-monitoring-equipment is because "1/3 of all deliveries need intervention, and this device helps MDs determine those in need of intervention sooner."
1/3...what!?!
I guess if you're already on your back with a bunch of sensors inside of you, then intervention has already started.
