Barbara, I loved your post about trying to save some baby birds. (By my count, there's one left? Wow, 1 out of 8. Not good stats!) I sure hope you succeed and Mother Nature decides to help the ugly little fella! Made me smile because we lose birds to cats on a regular basis. Our house cat is
not allowed out until after dark for this very reason, but there are others in the neighborhood and they love our feeders! I'm going to have to remember the umbrella and sprinkler tricks! I love watching all the babies in nature this time of year. Been watching a family of geese and marveling how
fast the babies are growing! When you think about the challenge of growing a baby human so dramatically on milk the first year, you wonder how tough it must be for them to do it with bugs and 'stuff'!
Marsha
