Since Bag Balm is intended for use on animals, I believe the ingredients do
not need to be listed. It is definately petroleum based, and there is a
distinct odor which would/could turn off any number of people, let alone a
sensitive baby. I keep it in the barn to use on my old, fat horse. It does a
wonder on fixing up nasty fly bites and fence wounds. Reminds me of the
"stinky stuff" we use on cuts for humans - McNess Krestol Salve - cresylic
acid oil eucalyptus resin and petrolatum. Wouldn't put that on my nipples,
though...

Best wishes,
Sam

Did you also know that Bag Balm and Aquaphor have lanolin in them? I would
guess that the lanolin has not been purified and would increase the risk of
an allergic reaction. I have started becoming allergic to Aquaphor after
using it for years. I don't seem to react to the purified lanolin>>
