A couple of years ago, I posted about my daughter using Reverse
Pressure Softening on her goat's engorged udder. I wanted to post an
update because she used again this past weekend with good results!

She was showing a nursing mama goat at the county fair and the mama
and babies were separated for the first time. The babies are about 3
months. Mama was very engorged and uncomfortable and my daughter was
not able to express milk as the udder and teats were so engorged she
couldn't get ahold of the teat. She used RPS (remembering it from
years ago) very briefly (only 10 seconds or so) and she was able to
express 16 ounces giving Mama much needed relief.

The family was reunited a few days later and the babies have resumed nursing.

I had to share, it is so nice that she remembers what I explained to
her years ago and is able to apply it in caring for her goats!
