I'm currently preparing an article based in part on these reports.

The 14 members of the panel and their affiliations are listed on p. iii of
the report. The only industry representative is Sue Marty of the Dow
Chemical Company (Midland, MI). Everyone else is affiliated with government
agencies (e.g., Centers for Disease Control, National Institutes of Health)
or universities.

The panel was convened by the National Toxicology Program's Center for the
Evaluation of Risks to Human Reproduction. There's no indication of
individual panel members' funding sources. I'd guess it's the usual
mish-mash of government and industry, but you could find out more by
checking panel members' web pages and so forth. Google away! ;-)

If you visit the site <http://cerhr.niehs.nih.gov/>, you can also access
comments about the reports from several viewpoints. (There are two reports;
one on genistein and one on soy formula.)

regards,
Julia
