This is my first post, and I'm not sure I'm doing it right, but here's my question. My niece, who is vegan, very healthy, had an unmedicated birth, etc, was unable to successfully breastfeed her now 2 year old due to true hypoplastic breasts. She sent me a photo, and there are extremely mismatched and tubular. She lives on the west coast, and had all the right support, tried everything, including domperidone. She was heartbroken not to be able to fully breastfeed, but did manage to give her boy some breastmilk for awhile. She is now pregnant, due in May, and has realistic expectations for feeding this baby, but I'd like to know, is there anything else she can do right now, during her pregnancy? She is considering placental encapsulation, but that's later. How can I help her? I live across the country from them.
Thanks for your feedback.
Deb B, in the midwest
