Okay I am almost at my limit after months of not posting! When mom eliminated dairy was it all dairy? As was posted earlier about casien also whey needs to check for in foods as well. I had one allergic kids that I had to completely dairy for and it was casien and whey in foods that would also affect him and I also limited the soy. While I could eat beef, when he started solids he couldn't have beef until he was over two (any bit of beef would have him screaming at 2 am). She may not need to go vegan but she should check all hidden dairy and maybe beef as well. One hint - try the cheap, store brand bread, they usually don't have any dairy at all in them.

I hope that helps, life with an allergic baby is challenging.
