Hi All,
I also really lkie this pump. When using it as a hand pump it works great
for me - I cannot get any milk with any other quality pump (electric or
hand) and having not pumped for at least a year, figured it would be the
same with the Av**t. (I asked the co for a demo early last year and was
able to use it effectively - surprise!)
As you recall a few weeks ago I had a question about BF my friends twins to
"teach them how to BF." Well, I never did that, but did agree to try to
pump some milk for her to use as supplement if she needed it. As my hand
was hurting quite a bit (old injury acting up) I tried to use the La***na
and could not get a drop. SO, I out the silicone shield from the Av**t into
the flange for the Me***a pump, and guess what?? SPRAYS of MILK!! Boy was
I surprised! I was able to easily pump (and this from two breasts that
hadn't really been pumped for over 4 yrs) several oz a day for my friend.
I recommend this pump to moms who need something quiet and effecient and who
do not like the other hand pump options.

Jay
Whose hand is still sore from all the typing I have done in the last few days...
