Hi all,

I have a friend who is becoming very involved in trying to persuade a
local hospital to not renew its contract with the formula company and
instead for the hospital to purchase its formula. She presented a letter
to a board meeting and was challenged afterwards by one of the board
members regarding some of the letter's points. One point in particular
" At least one study shows a direct relationship between hospitals
accepting formula gifts and low breastfeeding duration." is presenting a
problem. She can't remember where she saw this study. I know there are
many showing the effect of formula in discharge packets but is there
anything specifically geared the above statement. She did say she would
provide the board member with this. Many thanks.
