gives moms the idea that breastfeeding is difficult, painful and a lot of
work.  I doubt we know how many moms have problems.  >>

It occurs to me that it is not a "problem" at all for mothers to rely on
other women for assistance with breastfeeding. The problem, as I see it, lies
in the inability of those others present (women or men) to be of assistance,
thus the very normal learning period evolves into pathology.
