This is just a question, an aside to the issue of antibiotic prophylaxis for
GBS vs. a policy of watch and wait.  If nursing staff are too busy to
measure temps hourly, what is in the way of letting the babies' mothers do
it themselves?  Are there not enough thermometers to go around?
Please note I am not taking a stand one way or the other on the
appropriateness of treating prophylactically.
