            I think that there is scant actual research to document the
"harmful" effects of nipple shields. They are a tool and as such can be used
or abused. Used well they are a good tool. Used incorrectly they are not a
good tool.

             Careful charting and good notes and you will have an excellent
paper in the making... good luck.
