For those of you who saw Jan Barger's recent post about Gary Ezzo, I
followed her suggestion and dialed up the URL mentioned in her post and
read a MOST INTERESTING, enlightening, and (frankly) reassuring statement
from the church in question.

I hope the rest of you read that statement, too--and print it off (as I
have done) to distribute to persons you know who may have been taken in by
the Ezzo connection between strict adherence to scheduling and (so-called)
Biblical teaching.

I would like to think that this may be the undoing of such practices
(though my cynical side refuses to think it will be that easy).

It does strike me, however, as the beginning of more careful evaluation of
that method of child raising...
