Hello all,

For those in the know about this, it is true that women can be given chemo
while they are pregnant ( blood-to-blood connection) but that same baby
would not be allowed to breastfeed after the induced premature birth? Perhaps
they are referring to the fact that a particular woman simply will not
choose to terminate the pregnancy, but can "simply" choose not to allow her
baby to breastfeed? Is this a lack of respect for breastfeeding or does it
have to do with switching to or starting harsher meds as soon as the baby is
delivered? Are they conflating scenarios? Thoughts?

Peace,
Judy
