Hello all,
If a breastfeeding mother and her child ate the same food, and the child had
an anaphylactic allergic reaction, how do you determine how long the mother
needs to wait before she can nurse again? If it was known what food caused
the reaction, and mother and child had both eaten it, how long before the
food was out of her system and she could safely nurse again? And don't some
foods take longer to completely clear out of your system?

Thanks,
Sonya Shaver, BS, CHES, IBCLC
