In lieu of co-bathing, have you suggested kangarooing this baby - lots of
STS near the breasts, but without making any attempt to place baby "on" the
breast?  Baby can be worn, mom can lie in bed with baby on her belly/chest,
etc. Water does not have to be involved, although I know that it can be very
relaxing.
