The last time I had a baby that absolutely REFUSED to eat -- doc thought baby 
just "stubborn" -- no breast, no bottle, no fingerfeeding, no cup, no 
nothing....the baby's gut was partially paralyzed and she wasn't absorbing any food 
(and for the life of me, I can't remember what the term is -- old timer's 
disease is definitely setting in).  Ended up with surgery....
