Dear all

I have been approached to help identify a neonatologist who
could undertake a national assessment for the World Bank in an Eastern European country and help them plan for the next five years or so. It is very important that the right person is selected who both understands local culture and constraints and also is fully up to date on tertiary level neonatal services and planning. The person should be very practical and hopefully will not rush them headlong into some of the disastrous technology and approaches that we all battle to undo later.

The country does not have a milk bank yet but has good although falling breastfeeding rates.

I would really appreciate private emails with suggestions or names or further ideas/ comments. In particular I would welcome any ideas you think should be written into the terms of reference that might make a difference for breastfeeding (or indeed infant care ) If anything arises that is of general interest I will collate and post it.

Thanks
