It's amazing the things you become expert in when you have a child!!  My
daughter contracted ringworm right above her ear into her hair line.  Her
homeopath/pediatrician suggested applications of tea tree oil on the
affected area.  (Be sure to use a clean swab with each exposure to the
ringworm).  It faded very quickly but lingered.  I then read of Vit. E
applications again on the affected areas (Rodale's Encyclopedia of Natural
Home Remedies).  That did the trick of clearing the rest of it up.  Also of
interest from that book - use of an ice cube on a tongue cold sore -
immediate response.
