Interesting that when my first daughter was exclusively
breastfeeding, my husband and I bought her a child size
rockingchair from a couple down the road.

As a former dairy farmer, she was very encouraging and told
me out of the blue "Babies and calves do better getting the
milk straight from their mother.  You can milk a cow and give
her calf her own mother's milk, but it still does better
nursing on its mother."

This forum provides so many "ah ha" moments to clarify
tidbits gleaned here and there over the years.  It is sort
of the "dessert" of my life to read these posts daily.  I
always leave it for last before I go to bed.  Thankfully,
