I always thought that the intensity of fear (and loathing) of co-sleeping
and "killing one's child in bed was related to Biblical passages that
record such tragic events and I felt that since the bible hits so close to
home for many Old and New testament readers alike, that it was this was
spiritually inspired fear of sleeping with one's infants. If the Bible is
the inspired word of God then warnings about "overlying" must be gospel...a
mom asked me the other day if i heard of the "CASE" of a baby strangling in
his mom's long hair ! how horrible for these mother's to be fed such a
line....sounds more like "research from the enquirer"

I wish i knew what Bible passages these were so i could investigate them
myself.....

I just heard a talk from a woman from India who said Hindi moms sleep with
their babies the first year but if "overlying" cases are so common then why
do they have no problems with large groups of people living well into
adulthood ?
