I don't think all these HCPs are hearing themselves speak. Mom is BFing a 3
mo old and wants to offer the same milk to her 3yo. The milk is perfectly
good for the baby but has "no nutrition after 1 year" for the 3yo. Huh?

There are published references for nutritional values of human milk. I
think the variable is the nature and perhaps the volume of milk fat which
can be affected by mom's diet. Note that I have to look these things up as
biochem is not my strong suit. But Carbs should be pretty standard. Can't
this be analyzed in the same way all foods are analyzed for nutritional
content? Hasn't it already been done & published?

As she learns to plan and balance her son's diet to manage his diabetes,
she can include the nutritional values of human milk in the process.

I'm not sure these HCPs would be interested in or impressed by all the
research on the protective effects of human milk or the problems with cow's
milk re: diabetes. I'm wondering what research they are referring to when
they say that there is no nutritional value beyond 1 year of age. How can a
1+y.o. not absorb any nutritional value from human milk but can absorb
nutritional value from cow's milk? It's up to them to show their evidence -
IMHO!
