Good to see that the mother being involved in the assessment, because of her professional background.
However, I find that it isn't only the mothers with relevant professional training who benefit from participating in the assessment. As the parents are going to have to make decisions if the score is low, it really helps in the informed consent process if one of the parents has been involved in the assessment, irrespective of professional background. I have started doing this recently, and the Mums really seem to appreciate it.
