Hello, There are times that we use a shield on a postpartum mother to get the infant to latch. this is usually related flat, inverted nipples. I was asked for any protocal or guidelines for pumping when using a shield . Can someone direct me to the correct reference. thank you, I have done a archive search but did not get the information that I need.  Germaine lambergs
