I haven't seen any news coverage since the initial flurry. Is it expected
that there will be a follow-up announcement - is Sears in the middle of a
longer-term study? If there is follow-up news coverage the points in
Valerie's letter could be distilled into a short letter to the editor.

In addition, if any of you are working locally to improve coverage of
breastfeeding news, you could cite your local outlet's regurgitation of this
story as one example of how their coverage will be improved by obtaining
comments your local experts. Valerie's points, a mention of other research
pointing to breastfeeding as being protective and an encouraging statement
about breastfeeding would have made for much more balanced coverage.
